Young`s Chinese Food Carry-out in Royal Oak

I Have ate a ton of Chinese food tons of Different places.This by far was the best Chinese I’ve had. So good, I drive from warren and pass 6 Chinese restaurants on The way that none were very impressive. But this shocked me. Chinese fried shrimp was fresh, hot, delicious.Rice was scalding hot. And very good 10/10

First time and owner was very kind and hooked up a homemade almond cookie. I highly recommend the chai tea and food was great. Our new Chinese spot🙌

Very small place and they are always busy good food if there's a complaint they usually make it okay

I have been ordering from Young's for years. Always loved it. I understand these are trying times, but I ordered Almond chicken which doesn't come as a combination dinner when having delivered. I ordered fried rice and egg rolls as sides when paying above normal prices for the stand alone almond chicken. In addition to that, it didn't come with any gravy. I received a large container of chicken with no gravy, lettuce, almonds as is normally part of the dinner. I had asked for gravy on the side. We also ordered chicken and vegetables. That came with no sauce whatsoever. Last time I placed an order, we went with Peking House. Our next order will be from there as well. Very disappointing.

I was very disappointed with their food. The chicken breading was hard and the chicken itself was very dry. The chicken fried rice was dry and it tasted like it was 2 days old.

Food is good and consistent, new owners are stepping up there game and adding new items ( some good ones at that) old standard are the old family's I'll keep going

This place is the best! I come all the way from Metamora to get their food. The prices are awesome and they give you so much I can eat it for 3 days

It's everything you've been looking for in classic Chinese takeout. We have been here 3 times and everything we order always tastes great. Reasonably priced and decent quantity of food.

Just found out about this place since I’m always on the hunt for quality Chinese, and I’m so glad I did!! Chatted with the owner for a bit, who was super friendly and has years of experience - and it shows in his food. General Tso is on point and Hot Sour Soup was terrific. Really good Szechuan Chicken as well. All around delicious, fresh tasting Chinese and really great service. Places that know how to treat a customer are few and far between and Young’s has earned my business for sure!

The BEST chinese food around. I haven't found a place that comes close to how good their food is. My favorite that I get almost once a week is their chicken fried rice. The owner and staff are so awesome as well. Highly recommend you check them out if you're in the area!

Great food at a great price. Staff speaks English, are very friendly and they have never made a mistake with my order. I've had a couple of issues ordering online as they sometimes miss the order if they're busy, but other than that, these guys are great.

Amazing spring rolls and the plum sauce is on point! The staff is friendly and professional. We arrived early for our large order, and the felt bad we had to wait so the owner gave us some almond cookies. She apologized for the wait, which was not a problem, considering we were early! But then we had a very minor issue (forgotten rice), and when I called, they handled everything with friendliness and professional accountability. They even threw in 2 free appetizers for the trouble of driving back! 100% WILL BE BACK!

Fresh quick and delicious Chinese food.

Tried them on a whim, since our long time standby for Chinese has been on a rapid decline. GLAD WE DID!Fast and friendly service. Food was up fast, which was incorrectly concerning. This is not precooked, dumped in a box fair. The rice was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned, bits of egg confirmed they know what they're doing. And the General Tso's chicken was interesting. Seemed like there was no end to it. Just kept trying to work my was to the bottom of it, but there was more. But it was the BEST I've ever had, even from next to fancy sit down places. Such a tragedy I couldn't finish it. I'll definitely be back to accept that challenge again. GREAT PLACE

We ate there lastnight. When I picked it up something wasn't smelling to good. I ordered almond ckn. The outside batter was soggy not a crunch to it at all. Never got the rice that was included. Needless to say I ate a couple of pieces and threw the rest away. Won't be going back.

My family ordered food from here, and I ordered fried dumplings and egg rolls. We where told that they only change their oil for their deep fryers daily, which is a problem since I have a deadly peanut allergy, but joe changed the oil just for us so I could have the fried food I ordered. Thanks joe!

Best Chinese food Great customer service very clean smells good

This place is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. Whenever I I need a proper meal, this is the place that comes right away to my mind. good and all sorts of food and a large menu.generous staff members, and pleasant ambience. And very important, the pay is modest. I praise this spot with pleasure.

Young’s has the best quality chicken and great portions! I only come here for Chinese. Their egg drop soup is awesome too. Joe is very friendly and always smiling and the inside of the take out area is clean and fresh.

Been ordering from them for quite a long time. We basically order the same things all the time. Just called the other day to place an order to find that the dinners we usually order, you now have to pay for everything separately. They do not do dinners right now???? Really??? And Won Ton soup doesn't come with the crunchy Won Tons??? You have to pay separate for those too???? Then don't call it Won Ton soup! Really disappointed ! We ordered elsewhere .... Sad

We ordered Young's from Door Dash. We got the Mongolian Beef, spring rolls and egg rolls. This was some of the best Chinese food we have ever had. Portions were very generous as well and everything was very fresh. Great food!

By far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Incredible service. Very friendly and they always go the extra mile to make sure customers are happy. I had the General Tsos and it was absolutely perfect.

First visit. Other mainstays were closed to my benefit. Ordered shrimp egg foo young, sesame chicken, shrimp fried rice. I always order extra shrimp anyway because you never know. Yes, it's a la carte but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. I was very pleased. Will be sure to tell others.

two days ago was our first time in this good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the superb food and fine drinks and with the decent payment. We will absolutely visit there soon.

Before the new ownership I really enjoyed this place. I went for lunch and I was shocked at the lack of options and the pricing. I ordered fried shrimp lunch portion. I asked could I upgrade to shrimp fried rice. He said, “No I couldn’t get shrimp fried rice with the lunch portion because it was only one ice cream scoop of rice” I said okay well how much is it if I got the dinner portion he said $3.95. Like wow $4 just to add shrimp to a little bit of rice. Which in his words the dinner portion was two scoops of rice. Then I asked if I could get a small gravy he said I could purchase a pint or quart nothing smaller. Way overpriced!!!! Small Portions!!!!!

The fried rice is to die for, cashew chicken and shrimp pad thai are my favorite. Also, thai tea sooooo good omg as far as the employees, amazing. They are very hard working and super friendly. you honestly won't find this anywhere else. i would recommend this place to anyone!! Definitely check this place out. Shoutout to my mans joe too

Years back I was making new friends at Chinese resturants in hopes I could peddle my language skill. This is the most suitable one but shall see if they are avoiding or including me in the near future. Happy intl peace day buds anyway.

The General Tso chicken and the chicken fried rice were simply amazing together, and a thai tea that is made fresh daily to wash it down just left my pallet feeling refreshed. My friend had the sweet and sour chicken which I sampled and I can’t wait to order that next time. It’s some legit Chinese at Youngs!!

We've ordered from here for years, but recently it hasn't been the same. Today it took over 45 minutes, and when I received my order the chicken wasn't even cooked all the way, still pink in the middle. Really disappointing.

7 years ago somebody suggested that I try “Young’s Chinese Food.” This person told me that Young’s always goes above and beyond when it comes to the food, customer service, and getting to know every customer’s preference.Today, I decided to try out Young’s Chinese Food for the first time. I ordered the Sesame Chicken. All I have to say is “WOW!” The food here is delicious, the owner is super nice, everybody else is super nice, and very funny.I would recommend dining here.

Time after time, Young’s Chinese Food Carryout has impressed me with their quality, tasty entrées. Their shrimp and chicken are very good (these are the 2 proteins I’ve ordered from them) and certainly their customer service is very nice. The food is Great and so are the people

Young's customer service is beyond refreshing. Joe made a point to introduce himself and even offered us a complimentary cookie for being a first time customer. The food tastes fantastic. They will definitely be my go to Chinese restaurant from now on.
